229 The Venue, 229 Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia, W1W 5PN
June's installment of our monthly Introducing show at 229 brings you a stunning line up of Indie from around the UK all headlined by the fabulous Francis & Boyd. After impressing a mammoth crowd at Absent Kelly's recent Scala show with Bloc Party, Francis & Boyd are back, this time topping the billTheir beautiful mix of folk and Indie gives them a touch of the Mumfords and translates wonderfully live, their energy on stage is just totally electric
The bill is also being graced by Nottingham Indie, Brit Poppers, The Swiines
Gaining slots on Radio 1 and having shared the stage with acts such as The Subways, The Rifles and White Lies, this is definitely a band with credentials
Frontman Scott Bugg is also cousin and former band mate of one of the biggest young men in Indie right now, Jake Bugg
And if these two bands weren't enough we've got a handful more for you on top
You'd be mad to miss it.
