Roll up, roll up! Melbourne's own participatory improvisational comedy night is back!

The Art of Bullshit is an evening of frolicking fun and outrageous oration. Willing participants bullshit their way through a presentation they've never seen before, while the audience get to ask questions about their new-found expertise.

The Games:

We change up the games each month. This month's lineup:

TEDish - The lights come on, and the MC introduces you. You're the most prominent researcher in to the effects of glitter on climate change. Or perhaps you're on a one-person mission to have the moon recognised as a national heritage site. Who knows? You certainly won't until that point. As with all talks given from a red circular carpet, you'll be motivational, inspirational, and most of all, you'll speak to the four slides with aplomb!

Pitch - The audience are your venture capitalists. You introduce yourself, and explain that you'll be pitching your new business idea, which is basically "like Twitter for house cats", or "like ODesk for kindergarteners."

Imposter - Pick a passion or expertise from our list, that you think you're an expert in. When you're picked, another player will join you and have to convince the audience they are the expert and you're the one faking it! Or perhaps you're the imposter? No slides, but undoubtedly lots of questions!

Fake News - [live in 5, 4, 3, 2, ...] Welcome to the news, you're the host, and here are today's headlines! Six of them, completely unconnected, and you have ten seconds to tell the viewers what's going on. No time for questions.

What to Expect:
The Art of Bullshit is an entertaining evening of impromptu presentations and pitches. Presenters learn their talk topic mere moments before they're due to speak. It's like Toastmasters, without the expectation and pressure.

Fear not, there's no pressure to get up, you're welcome to sit back and enjoy the presentations!
