I'll include all of the proper info below but what I wanted to write about this upcoming
wonderfully crazy party goes direct and correct to the music.

Lorin / Bassnectar (Bassnectar.net):

Lorin carves out a unique sphere in the audible musical spectrum. Yes, it's breaks but
breaks that sound like nothing else you've quite heard before. Swerving, squishy,
squelching bass lines that collide and recombine and manage to stay beautiful for all of
their gut wrenching intensity. Uber-funky beats that are as swinging as they are hard.
Playful and pretty and dark melodies that simply trip you out while your booty begs for
mercy. And this is all happening at tempos that range from the usual 130 BPM zone down to
95 BPM throb monsters. It all adds up to to a truly intoxicating blend that without fail
grabs a dance floor and simply doesn't let it go.

Fort Knox (Fort Knox Recordings):

D.C.'s John Harvath is one of the hottest and most in demand remix artsts on the scene.
Through his production work with the likes of Africa Bambaataa and on his own tracks, he
is the outer forefront of redfined funk. Latin, funk, breaks, rare groove are all there
all at the same time.

Haj (Freek Factory / Body Temple):

From tribal outsanity to syncodelic breakbeat, Haj has been tripping and ripping up the
scene in NYC with Body Temple and is the creative force behing the Bass Nympho's Ball.

Sunder (Sol System):

Sunder has just moved to NYC after creating a serious buzz in SF for the last year.
Sunder's has a mad funky palette of breaks and house that is kicked into overdrive by his
even madder turntable/scratching skills.

JP (Nubreaks.com):

NYC breaks pioneer JP serves it up funky and clean and tighter than polished chrome. He'll
be one of the DJs to watch in NY for a long time.

Rhythmystic (Beatstream.net/Rhythm Society): The bust-out purveyor of Freak Funk / Hyper
Funk, from bump-steppin'mid-tempo funk nuggets to full-throttled low-freekwency breakz,
Kenny brings it correct from the throbbing heart of the Beatstream. Underground dance
floor destroyer from coast to coast, his sets promise to leave you happily bass-drunk and
properly beat-blessed.

So that's the dealio with the music. But this party is going to off on so many other
levels: high production values, gorgeous dcor, massively freaky and friendly vibes.
Capacity is limited - advance tickets recommended to avoid the lines.
